Dr. LaQuana Reaves-Green
Educator|Consultant|Counselor
Dr. LaQuana Reaves-Green is a native of South Carolina. Upon graduation, she joined the AmeriCorp program for two years; her first assignment was at South Carolina Victim Assistance Network. Dr. Green received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Child and Family Development from Benedict College, Columbia, SC, and a Master of Arts Degree in School Counseling from North Carolina A & T. University. She also completed a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Phoenix.
Dr. Green's first teaching assignment was with Charleston County School District at Rivers Middle School. She also worked at Berkeley Middle School as a school counselor Director and Berkeley High School in Moncks Corner South Carolina for the Berkeley County School District before moving to North Carolina in 2010; where she worked for DDESS as a school counselor in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
She served at Johnson Primary School as a school counselor for four years, before accepting a school counselor position at Daegu Elementary School. She served at Daegu Elementary School in South Korea for a year and a half then moved to Camp Humphreys. Dr. Green serves as a school counselor, early interventionist, literacy support specialist, and various other support roles. Currently, she works in Dorchester School District Two in Summerville, South Carolina, and Dr. Green serves on the VirtualSC School Advisory Board.
